What does it require to be a partner?

There is no cost to become a partner. It is a simple two-part commitment:

• take the issue of foreclosures, abandoned and vacant properties seriously and participate in thoughtful discussions around solutions; and

• give careful consideration to making a public commitment as an independent organization or as part of a larger collaborative effort to stem the tide of foreclosures, vacant and abandoned properties and help provide housing for working families at prices which they can afford.

What is a public commitment to fight distressed properties in our region?

To convene, connect and act! Public commitments can take many shapes and forms to share best practices from across the country and stimulate thinking about the best solutions that will work for our region. Organizing Partners will help convene sessions for organizations with a similar focus and/or mission to gather as a sector to strategize further and share plans for action.
