The Housing REsolution® Initiative is a Regional Private Public Partnership created to deliver market driven solutions to address the thousands of foreclosures existing in our South Jersey Community.  By developing opportunities to acquire and rehabilitate distressed properties, we will meet the demand for housing for working families, and simultaneously provide job opportunities which contribute to the local economy.

REsolution® Initiative Steering Committee is being led by Bluefield Homes, Financial Wellness Institute, and Land Dimensions and is comprised of other multi-sector partners who are focused on the following key strategies;

1.   Development of a process by which multi-sector stakeholders may advance the purchase of properties in bulk;

 

2.    Work with financial institutions, tax lien holders and municipalities to expedite the transfer of REO, vacant and abandoned properties to Community Development Corporations or Nonprofit Organizations to renovate the distressed properties.

 

3.    Create a South Jersey Housing Revolving Loan Fund to be used for the acquisition and rehabilitation of distressed properties for the purpose of providing entry level and workforce housing at prices working families can afford.
